Marie-Hélène Rogeon was born into a
family of perfume makers and
her great grand father Louis Panafieu
created Eau de Colognes
for the Emperor Napoleon III and a famous
"Pommade des Mousquetaires"
for its lacquer-like-finish moustaches.
From early on, Marie-Hélèn was fascinated by the world of exquisite
bottles,
fragrances, flowery labels and silk braid trimmings. These rich
experiences
drove her to the creation of her own company, Les Parfums
de Rosine,
at a time when women started to get tired of commercial
perfumery
and were looking for real creations and
perfumes-telling-stories.
The two main passions of Marie-Hélène Rogeon are perfumes and… roses.
They are all so different; shy or proud, voluptuous or tender, with
multiple
shapes and colors, and the infinite variety of perfumes. For
her, as a perfumer,
rose essence and rose absolut are the quintessence
of all great perfumes.
Marie-Hélène Rogeon built a collection of rose Eau de Parfums,
all
different, from the fresh Un Zest de Rose to the sensuous Une Folie de
Rose.
