Baudelaire - Eau de Parfum
With Charles Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du Mal as inspiration for this fragrance, it is not a coincidence that this is one of Byredo’s darkest fragrances. The blend between fresh hyacinth and dark spices and herbs creates a unique fragrance that demands character. This fragrance is a close interpretation of Baudelaire’s Parfum Exotique, blending the wild and exotic with the dark.
Baudelaire opens with dark, yet fresh notes of herbs and spices such as black pepper and caraway. The heart blooms with hyacinth and a touch of leather and incense. The smokiness from the incense and leather is darkened by black amber as well as an intense patchouli note in the fragrance’s base.
