Laine de Verre - EdP
The third creation in Serge Lutens' L'Eau series, Laine de Verre draws its inspiration from glass wool.
Laine de Verre is confrontational. Two opposites which, nevertheless, are complementary. One is transparent, shattering just as much as a truth, taking everything at face value, from the highest to the lowest degree. On the other hand, the wool. It is knitted, it is made into stitches which run down a singlet; sometimes it scratches. Taken at its word, glass wool is also an insulator.
With its cold and metallic notes it evokes shards of glass that are wrapped in a cashmere sweater.
