Fleur Nocturne - Eau de Parfum
In 1925, Julien Viard designed for the Perfume House Isabey, a little jewel made of crystal called « Bleu de Chine ». The bottle, produced by Ludwig Moser with a Crystal Master from Karlsbad, was dark amethyst with hand painted patterns. Only few pieces of what was considered as collectors’ items, are still available; one of them at the “Museum of Perfume” in Grasse, France.
When the decision to produce a contemporary version was taken, it was not possible to use the original name as it was, in the meantime, registered by another company. However, the spirit of « Bleu de Chine » was captured by realizing an exceptional scent treasured in a bottle that was treated with a unique process known as “Sublimation”. This technique enables the new version to regain the aspects, the colors and the embossed effects wanted by Julien Viard.
Inspired by a universe of painted crystal, of flowers and of dark amethyst, the virtuoso of refined compositions Jean Jacques created a floral bouquet with an extraordinary mixture of white flowers with fruity notes laying on a sensual base.
The head note, made of mandarin blended with the apricot tree flower and white peach, provides this delightful feeling that one is holding an exceptional scent with noble and precious ingredients. The note then plunges into a heart of jasmine, magnolia and gardenia that can only be found in perfumes of rare quality. The base note will leave a powerful wake, elegant and intensely sensual, thanks to a combination of solar notes, vanilla and patchouli.
