At its heart lies an extraordinary concentration of Bavarian Iris germanica, cultivated, harvested, and transformed by the founders in Lower Bavaria. Rich in the house's own iris butter and extract, the fragrance moves beyond traditional powdery associations, uncovering iris in a new light. Vibrant, textured, and irresistibly alluring.

Green mandarin and cardamom bring brightness and energy, while cinnamon and clove lend warmth and spice. A subtle raspberry accord introduces an unexpected fruity facet that enhances the natural complexity of the iris without ever overshadowing it. Cedarwood, patchouli, and frankincense provide depth and structure, creating a fragrance that is both captivating and refined.

Named after the rare Poulsard grape of France's Jura region, known for producing wines of remarkable character and nuance, Iris Poulsard shares the same spirit of individuality and intrigue. Complex, magnetic, and endlessly fascinating, it invites discovery with every wear.

As a true millésime perfume, production is limited to the yield of a single iris harvest. Selection 2026 is limited to just 513 individually numbered bottles.

ABOUT DANNER & FLEMMING

Founded in Bavaria by farmer Christian Danner and biologist Marcel Flemming, Danner & Flemming is one of the few perfume houses in the world to cultivate, process, and transform its own iris into fragrance.

What began as a scientific research project evolved into a pioneering agricultural and perfumery venture centered on one of the world's most precious raw materials. The iris rhizomes are grown for years in the fertile soils of Lower Bavaria before being harvested, carefully dried using a patented refinement process, matured, and transformed into highly concentrated extracts and precious iris butter.

Created in collaboration with master perfumer Antoine Lie, each fragrance showcases a different iris variety grown by the founders themselves. Produced only from the annual harvest, every perfume is a limited millésime edition, with each bottle individually numbered.
