Soft, enveloping, and exquisitely refined, Iris Trousseau celebrates the most sensual facets of iris.

At the heart of this composition lies Danner & Flemming's own Bavarian Iris germanica Danner, cultivated and processed in Lower Bavaria and transformed into precious iris butter and extract. Richly concentrated and exceptionally expressive, it reveals a velvety powderiness of remarkable depth and elegance.

Rare Piedmontese hazelnut extract lends a creamy, almost tactile softness, while tonka bean absolute and sandalwood add warmth and gentle richness. Accents of bergamot and cardamom bring subtle brightness, while cedarwood, vetiver, and violet leaf provide a delicate structure that allows the iris to unfold with effortless grace.

Named after the rare Trousseau grape, celebrated for its character and complexity, Iris Trousseau offers an experience of pure comfort and sophistication. Silky, powdery, and quietly seductive, it wraps the skin in a luminous veil of softness that lingers for hours.

As a true millésime perfume, production is limited to the yield of a single iris harvest. Selection 2026 is limited to just 711 individually numbered bottles.

Each presentation box contains a slice of the very iris rhizome from which the fragrance was born, along with a vial of pure iris essence - the precious heart of the composition.

ABOUT DANNER & FLEMMING

Founded in Bavaria by farmer Christian Danner and biologist Marcel Flemming, Danner & Flemming is one of the few perfume houses in the world to cultivate, process, and transform its own iris into fragrance.

What began as a scientific research project evolved into a pioneering agricultural and perfumery venture centered on one of the world's most precious raw materials. The iris rhizomes are grown for years in the fertile soils of Lower Bavaria before being harvested, carefully dried using a patented refinement process, matured, and transformed into highly concentrated extracts and precious iris butter.

Created in collaboration with master perfumer Antoine Lie, each fragrance showcases a different iris variety grown by the founders themselves. Produced only from the annual harvest, every perfume is a limited millésime edition, with each bottle individually numbered.
