Palais d'Hiver - Incense

Size:
Sale price$ 55.00

An icy mist drifts over the Neva as the first light of dawn reveals the gilded splendor of the Winter Palace. Palais d’Hiver Incense captures this moment of quiet opulence, where sunlight pours through tall windows and the air carries the refined perfume of imperial salons. Elegant and luminous, the fragrance evokes the grandeur of tsarina-era interiors warmed against the winter cold.

Musky patchouli forms the heart of the composition, enriched by the creamy softness of white florals. Orange blossom and ylang ylang lend a delicate floral radiance, while vetiver and Virginia cedar introduce a dry, woody elegance. White musk softens the edges, leaving a refined and graceful trail that feels both regal and serene.

Crafted on the island of Awaji using centuries-old techniques, each stick is made from natural woods, resins and botanicals to ensure a smooth burn and a beautifully lingering fragrance.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Designers of furniture and white ceramics Ivan Pericoli and Benoît founded their company, Astier de Villatte, in 1996 in association with friends and family. Successor to the parisian manufactures of the 18th century, satire de village is now the only major studio to keep the tradition of artisanal ceramic production in Paris alive.

In 2000, they opened the boutique at 173 rue Saint Honoré, which also presented their other creations for the home: titanium cutlery, borosilicate glassware and above all the wonderful collection of traditionally printed notebooks.

In 2008 they decided to join forces with a big name from the perfume world and together begin creating luxury scented goods. Working with their associates Emilie Massed and Françoise Caron, the star pefumer at Takasago (a Japanese fragrance company) Astier de Villatte's range of scented products was born.
